Great food. Great prices. Great service.

It's a joke of a take out. It's sri lankan, first of all, yet it sells Indian products like Samosas and has named the store after a Hindu God, even though sri lankans aren't really Hindus, but do their best to take from the Indian culture and Hindu religion to pretend to be that.The food is icky and lame, not authentic at all, and overall a joke. They are fooling white people who know no better about how good Asian food should taste.

Really great selection of Indian and Sri Lankan food here! Everything is made fresh but the naan always has a stale oil smell to it

The people who work here are the nicest in any store ever. Food is amazing and fresh. I locked my keys in my car today, and the guy in the front spent 30 min of his own time, to help me somehow manage to open it. Truly appreciated

Love the veggie & mutton Samosas. Costs $1 for 3, a bit pricey then other Samosas places. Samosas are filled right to the edge, that's why I love them..not just a lot of batter with air. Small place to pick up your order. Not a dine in spot. Suggest to call ahead and place your order as it's always busy. Coconut chutney is amazing with the Samosas and anything else. Staff is very nice! Open late.

The food was delicious and the person serving us was patient. The price was great too. We ordered daal, coconut spinach, pumpkin cassava, and two types of eggplant curry, with papadums, rice, carrot salad, 7 chicken pieces and 4 fish cutlets. The price was $70. Amazing. It fed 6 adults and 7 children.

Decided to give this little place a try since its in our neighborhood and the review I read said they were friendly. We aren't familiar with this cuisine so we were hoping for some direction on what to order. After asking the gentleman behind the counter for a suggestion..right away I could tell he wasn't interested in securing any new customers. He said "boneless chicken" ? So that's what we got..too bad we were willing to spend more than the 7 dollars it cost.Went here because of a review that said they were friendly, but sadly not to us. So we went to Babu....missed opportunity Ganesh..we eat out alot!

If you want Mothagam, go here, nowhere else. This place is best for Mothagam in Toronto Canada.

They allow the customers to enter the store without wearing masks during this Covid19 pandemic situation.Also the cashier is handling the cash without wearing gloves and the same person is packing take outs.

Food is fresh. Customer service is poor . They serve people from their own culture first, even though u have been waiting in line !

Decent food

I love this place for it's kothu roti dish. If you're a fan of this dish, this is a must place.

I like the place because they prepare food fresh & right in front of you.I like their Noodles, it's a bit spicy & taste good. Their Somasa are always fresh & crispy. This is a small business, but their services is great.

This restaurant is my favorite restaurant. Of all restaurants I know I favor it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to visit this restaurant. everytime I feel like having a fair meal, this restaurant comes straightaway to my head. best and food and a large list of dishes.well mannered crew, and great ambience. Not less important, the pay is reasonable. I sent my friends to this spot with great pleasure.

The place is OK. The portions are good. The amount of meat is OK. I wouldn't say this is expensive. It's actually not bad. Good tastes OK. Had briyani mutton and the rice didn't taste fresh. Really price a 3.5/5.. food was 2.5/5..

Best Indian/Tamil food in Markham hands down. If your looking for a bunch of different snacks this is the place to go but also, if you want to feed 30 people this is also the place to go. In the early morning hours the employees are already there getting things ready. I've gone at 8 a.m after a long night at work and there's warm food ready to go. In a city that was a town not too long ago that's relatively rare. Lots of all hours places exist but they normally only have breakfast options at 8 a.m. Ganesh caters and they do take out calls. Call ahead or just walk in you'll find something delicious. I can't stress it enough. Everyone especially in the Manhattan/Raymer villa area needs to try this place. If you've never had this type of food before try it first at Ganesh. Their stuffed Roti is magnificent. Absolutely the best thing I've ever eaten. The veggie stuffed Roti and the Mutton Roti is to die for. Just enough spice. Not going to kill your tongue. Lol

Had one of the worst boiled mothakam there today. This place was known for its best fried and boiled Sri lankan style dumplings with mung beans and sweet coconut inside. It's a shame i got spoilt one first time in years. When the old man used to run this place it was spotless and clean quality good food. The new owner lady doesnt care of customer service nor the quality of products. Such nice place went from a true appreciation to causing people upset stomach. Cant believe I received substandard food from this place.

Very good Sri Lankan / Indian take out

There are better places. The rice tasted like instant rice (cooked poorly) and the curries were somewhat disappointing.

The closest Sri Lankan place to my house and that's the only reason why I went here. Food is slightly overcooked and portion sizes are smaller than most other srilankan places (babu, nanthas, gasa etc). The food is mediocre at best I would say; I even remembered asking myself why I just didnt eat at home. Nothing really stands out here. Not their kothuroti, their patties, rolls etc. Pretty much your typical GTA srilankan take out place but overpriced and under seasoned. I wouldn't recommend.Jan 4th 2019 Edit: I found myself here again and this will be my last visit. This place is walking distance from my house but the proximity/convenience factor isn't worth how bad the food is. I have no idea how this place has a 4 star rating. I ordered roti and mutton curry for the family and we were not impressed. The meat was tough and underseasoned. We actually threw away the leftovers (something we never do). I cant wait until Babu's is finished renovating so I can just go there.

It's ok

I used to go to this place often as I really liked their vegetarian food. I had recently went here couple times for same thing and found the staff to be so disorganized and they missed few things in my order. They also take advantage of their customers, they keep changing the portions and quality and are never consistent.
